Educator dedicated to inspiring people and teams to express their humanities. Inspired by African Ubuntu Ethics, he works as a coach, team facilitator and speaker in Ubuntu Leadership Programs for various organizations, and serves as President of Ubuntu Leaders Academy in Latin America.   
Coach trained by four different schools: ICI in Brazil, Integral Coaching Canada, Ontological Coaching by Newfield Network in Chile, and Institute for Generative Leadership in the USA. He also has an MBA from Babson College (USA) and a degree in Business Administration from FGV (Brazil). And has various complementary training programs for self-knowledge, including clowning, organic agriculture, and yoga.   
Before dedicating to the development of leaders, teams, and companies, he had more than 10 years' experience in multinationals such as Unilever, Philip Morris, Whirlpool, reaching the position of Marketing Director for Latin America at Johnson & Johnson, his last executive position.

  • Ubuntu Leadership is a development journey for leaders, managers, teams, and organizations in search of generating INTERDEPENDENT RESULTS THAT MATTER. In Ubuntu Leadership, I bring together concepts, learnings, reflections, and methodologies from 15 years of work as an educator, coach, and facilitator. The common thread is the meaning of the African philosophy Ubuntu: Becoming a person through relationships.

  • In Ubuntu Leadership, results go beyond profit, as the term is often defined in the corporate world and in other civil society organizations.

    The Results of Ubuntu Leadership consider financial results and other impacts and indicators, including environmental and social issues, the mental health of employees, personal and family relationships, and the integration of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects present in the life of every human being.

    These results are Interdependent because the impacts and indicators relate to each other and affect each other, so there is a constant search for balance.

  • Accompanying the development of leaders for 15 years, I noticed repetitive patterns of behavior. I grouped these patterns into 5 Stages that form the Ubuntu Leadership Cycle.

    The 5 Stages of the Ubuntu Leadership Cycle are: Awakening, Discovering, Seeding, Growing and Harvesting. Each Stage can lead leaders, managers, teams, and organizations to seek INTERDEPENDENT RESULTS THAT MATTER, based on the transformative potential of the Ubuntu way of being.

  • Firstly because, as the name suggests, it is based on the African philosophy of Ubuntu. Second, the embodiment of the learnings, as the journey invites you to understand the concepts and practice, practice, practice, so that you apply in your daily life. Third, it is customized for you. You start the program where you feel it will help to overcome the challenges you are facing right now.

    Besides, it is a scalable program, so you can make your entire team or organization go through the same movement, speaking the same language, and experiencing a similar learning process.

    Finally, it is integral and organic… a learning journey that goes beyond cognitive, including moods and emotions, body, and spirit. We usually say that the learning journey flows!

  • As there is no single methodology capable of covering all the points to be worked on, in personal and team development, the Ubuntu Leadership Journey uses a very powerful combination of techniques and content. The main ones are:

    - Ubuntu Leaders Academy, from the Padre Antonio Vieira Institute (Portugal)

    - Generative Leadership, from the Institute for Generative Leadership (USA)

    - SELFtrepreneurship, Edu Seidenthal's proprietary methodology

    - Integral Theory, by Ken Wilber

    - Ontology of Language, by Julio Olalla, Humberto Maturana, Fernando Flores, Rafael Echeveria.

    - Anthroposophy, by Rudolf Steiner.

    And also, Storytelling, Strengths Theory, Vulnerability, Polarity Management.

  • The Ubuntu Leadership Journey is divided into the 5 Stages of the Cycle: Awakening, Discovering, Seeding, Growing and Harvesting. After an initial conversation, it is possible to define the individual (leader, manager, etc.) or collective (directors, teams, etc.) starting point, which is not necessarily Awakening.

    Each stage lasts an average of six months and around 30 lessons, bringing together asynchronous online activities (Thinkfic platform), synchronous online activities (webinars and coaching) and face-to-face activities (immersion), specific to each one.

    These Stages can be taken separately or together, as a complete process.

  • The full duration of the Ubuntu Leadership Journey is, on average, two years. As part of it is virtual, you will be able to respect your own time and pace of reflection and action, as long as you prepare yourself for the synchronous online and face-to-face events.

  • The first step is to schedule a conversation with me so that, together, we can identify the initial Stage for you and/or your team.

  • You and/or your team can enjoy the content of the Journey for one month. Then, if you don't want to continue, you can request a full refund of your investment (taxes and administrative charges discounted).

  • You and/or your team will have access to the content of the Ubuntu Leadership stage for a period of one year.

  • Each stage of the Ubuntu Leadership Journey has been designed to respect the intense routine of leaders, managers, and teams, which is why it includes online (synchronous and asynchronous) and face-to-face activities. Even if you decide to slow down, it is essential to keep up the pace in order to take part in the synchronous online and face-to-face activities. In addition, the online content of your stage will be available for a period of 1 year.

  • This will depend very much on your moment in life and also on how much you dedicate yourself to the reflections and development processes.

    From my experience of almost 15 years in development programs, I can say that the results will undoubtedly appear in a matter of weeks.

  • By taking part in the Ubuntu Leadership Journey, you will be entitled to a virtual group meeting with me at a date and time scheduled in advance.

    Also, you will have access to the WhatsApp group and will be able to ask question and interact with other Ubuntu Leaders and myself.

  • Certificates will be issued at the end of each Stage of the Ubuntu Leadership Cycle, and you will also receive a general certificate at the end of the 5 Stages.
